From branch managers and registered nurse case managers, to director level oversight, our team of over 80 administrative and management staff supports our clients and their caregivers to maximize the effectiveness of our care.
Our administrative staff consult with our clients’ physicians, social workers, hospitals, other providers and families to develop an individualized plan of in-home care. We also handle the necessary paperwork, working with providers, insurers and government agencies as needed to establish and maintain each client’s services.
Our World-Class Leadership Team

Barb Jezorski, RN
Barb joined HealthStar in 2014 and has been in the health care field for 20+ years. She has held various executive and director level leadership positions in acute care hospitals, home health, hospice, and assisted living facilities. At HealthStar, Barb is responsible for the operational and clinical oversight for all HCBS, Home Health, and Hospice service lines. She helps to achieve strategic goals and quality outcomes.

Katie Wagner
Katie joined the HealthStar billing department in 2013. She has previously worked as HealthStar’s Billing Manager and Finance Operations Manager. Katie has extensive experience in supervising, billing, payroll, and training. She has since transitioned to the Director of Operations, overseeing our Medicare certified offices. She provides leadership and coaching to those offices while keeping our mission and vision on the forefront.

Kristin Hoen
Kristin joined HealthStar in 2021 and serves as the Senior Director of Operations, overseeing the clinical operations of the St. Paul, Minnetonka, and southwestern offices. As a leader with HealthStar Home Health & TRU Health & Wellness, her goal is to view patients and clients as partners across all the business lines. Kristin believes clients should be involved in their care and journey to health and wellness.

Lillian Altendorfer-Morales
Lillian joined HealthStar in November 2022 as the Director of Operations, overseeing HCBS. She has 32 years of experience of working in the Health Care field supporting people with disabilities under 245D license. Her experience ranges from managing group homes, supporting individuals living in their own homes (IHS), Human Resources, and 13 years as a Training and Development Manager. Lillian’s values and mission are for person centered services, for people to have options/choices in their life, and to live as independently as possible.

Beth Peterson
Beth has been a Director of Human Resources in healthcare for 10 years. She has experience in recruitment, employee relations, staff training, and supervisor coaching. She has a broad range of staff development experience, onboard training, compensation, benefits, and workers compensation. Beth oversees all Human Resource functions and maintains the company’s goals and practices to align with the business mission and vision statement.

Tom Schmidt
Tom is a seasoned financial executive servicing most of his career in the air transportation industry, including working as an Assistant Controller for Northwest Airlines, CFO for Sun Country Airlines and Mesaba Aviation, and Corporate Controller for Endeavor Air (formally Pinnacle Airlines). Tom joined HealthStar in 2018 and currently works as the Director of Finance, overseeing HealthStar’s financial and accounting policies, systems, and processes.

Jodi Jahnke
Jodi joined Healthstar October of 2022. She previously worked for another home care agency as an Occupational Therapist, and has worked in various home care roles since 2014. Jodi now has the role of Director of Rehab here at HealthStar where she has the privilege of working with therapists, nurses, and other leadership professionals with the goal of serving our patients with the most optimal and professional care, and carrying out our mission of impacting people’s lives everyday.

HealthStar Home Health founder Tim Lively holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing, with a Minor in Finance, from the University of St. Thomas.
Tim served on the Board of Directors of Parenting with Purpose, has worked with microfinance initiatives in India, and studied models of community health in Haiti in order to translate key strategies and tactics to his work in the Midwest and Southwest. Tim lives in White Bear Lake with his wife Michelle and their three children.
