Home & Community

Helping with your health and around your home.

HealthStar Home Health can help you plan a diverse set of care, chores, transportation and even respite services. These offerings are provided by our skilled and caring professionals who are dedicated to ensuring that men and women in our communities who need help, receive it, in a dignified and caring way.

Independent Living Skills Training (ILS)

ILS is a service for those who have a physical disability, brain injury, or have a chronic physical or mental health condition. The goal of ILS Services is to help develop, maintain, and improve independence in the home and community.

Homemaking Services

Homemaking providers perform routine household chores as well as more significant housekeeping and personal cares when necessary or approved. Our homemaker program is available to all persons covered under the Medical Assistance Waiver Programs or as private pay.

Individual Community Living Support (ICLS)

ICLS offers assistance to those who need intermittent or moderate supervision or physical assistance to stay in their home. This allows clients to take advantage of services and supports under one provider, while staying in the comfort of their own home.

Personal Care Assistance (PCA)

PCA services provide assistance and support for persons with disabilities, living independently in the community. Elderly and others with special health care needs receive care in their home or in the community when normal life activities take them outside the home.

Respite Services

Respite care offers you time to take care of yourself: visit a friend for lunch, run errands, or go to an appointment. Our health care professionals will provide light housecleaning, care, and companionship while you’re away.
